Karate Crack
5.10a ****
Trad Single Pitch
Easily one of the best climbs I have ever had the opportunity to do. Joel led this one blistering hot summer afternoon. We forgot to put a directional at the bottom so when Joel took a nice fall at 20 feet up, the bottom two cams popped out of the crack, leaving him suspended by a single cam. After changing his drawers, he sent this climb in a seige not seen in tenacity since the famous Second Seige of Malta in the sixteenth century. I cleaned and acknowledged the can of woop-ass Joel just let out on the rock.
Hail, Joel.
