Smith Rock is known more for the east side climbs.  The majority of the classic routes reside in this area.  Smith Rock has a couple more areas such as the Lower and Upper Gorge (icky ass basalt), the Marsupials and the Red Wall.  There are other smaller areas that have some great climbs too, but I may not list them here.
