Sport Single Pitch

 

 

 

 

The worst first bolt of my life.  It has nothing to do with the holds, it's just a high placement.  There a two nut placements if you don't like the 20 foot solo to the first bolt.  After getting terrorized by the first set of protection, I completely lost my lead head and hated the climb.  After trying it another night on top rope, I still hated it.

OK, so Steph made me relead this, and she knew how much I hated this climb.  Hates it, precious.  After leading it, it's not so bad, but that first bolt.  Ick.
