The Big Eddy Thriller

TnT on the Deschutes River

Elevation: 4,000 Feet

For Linda's 33rd birthday she wanted to go whitewater rafting with our family.  So we loaded up and took the Big Eddy Thriller.  It is a fun, albeit short, ride down some very light class III rapids.  The water was pumping 2,000 cubed feet per second which evidently is very high for the deschutes river.  Here is all of us getting drenched and thrilled.  As a side note, the Deschutes River is freezing cold, all year round.  It was at 50F on the day we went rafting (thanks USGS!).
